Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has been available around the corner for approximate five months. But that doesn’t mean that Ice Cream Sandwich update is not considered as welcome release, at least for some owner of Gingerbread device that desperately need dose of new update for their smartphone. Well, that seems to be the case for LG Spectrum owners. After long time waiting, Verizon is finally approve the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the handset!

Yep, start from tomorrow, those of you who are happen to own Verizon LG Spectrum will be able to download Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update via OTA. This is mean that you don’t have to prepare your computer and USB cable. Just wait for the official notification from Verizon, hit the download button, and you’re good to go.

Some of you might wonder whether LG Spectrum will be upgraded to Android 4.1 or even Android 4.2. Well, i can’t tell you for sure, but it seems like we have to wait until the end of this year to see if LG would like to come out with an official explanation about that.
