Strava is a great Android app for those of you who love to cycling around and set your personal goal on your exercise. Not only able to save your cycling course and schedule, Strava also packed with an intelligence system that able to track down your training progress. Even better, you can upload your result and compare it with other local bikers.
Once you download and install Strava on your Android handset, you will be asked to create an account. But thankfully, there is no need to fear the overwhelming registration process since you can login to Strava immediately using your Facebook account. Like i said earlier, you can share your exercise result and compare it with other local bikers. Now, all you need to do is sit on your cycle and tap on the Play button. Once your ride is done, you can press on the Feed Tab to see the result. Strava is a great exercise app that able to measure your cycling course based on ride time, distance covered, elevation gain, and maximum speed.
Strava also allow users to do some customization on the setting menu. You can adjust desired units or setup an email alerts. I haven’t try too many similar app, but i can tell you that Strava is a good app with robust settings menu.
Tap on the Profile Tab if you want to view your complete statistics, from total number of rides, miles completed, to feet climbed. It is also possible to measure statistics based on weekly or daily basis. This should be a great feature for all exercise mania. One thing that i love from Strava is the fact you will get special reward if you manage to complete a challenge. For example, bikers can earn King and Queen of the mountain honors on specific sections of road or trail. I’m telling you how hard it is to get up early in the morning and ride on a bike. But with this kind of achievement, you will have more motivation to do your exercise.
I’ve been trying Strava for couple of days and i haven’t face any problems with it. Strava is manage to locate my current bike track in amazing accuracy by using my Android’s GPS technology. It just simply does what it should be, recording my track and monitor my current training. Overall, if you love to ride your back in the morning or have some friends that love to do such exercise, you should either download or recommend Strava!tags: Android, app, Cycle, Download, Review, Strava
