Flight simulator is a rare genre in Android game. Off course you can find lot of air fight themed game with World War I or World War II setting, but all of them tend to become a classic arcade game. You don’t have to think about law of physics and gravity since game is just ask you to dodge bullets and fire as many gun powders as you can toward the enemy. However, that is not the case for Namco’s Sky Gamblers: Rise of Glory.
The game is basically build for all flight simulator fan, which been sitting in front of their computer in the past few years. It is a good thing that finally a big company like Namco has such balls to take such genre to mobile platform like Android. Sky Gamblers: Rise of Glory is a pretty good game with console-like quality in both gameplay and graphics. But before you start to play any mission, please remember that this is not a casual or arcade game. It require most of your mind and Android. Once you know how to fly, you should be able to complete a raid within five or ten minutes.
Like i said earlier, Sky Gamblers: Rise of Glory manage to provide a console-like experience to Android users. You will any kind of game mode that you want. There is a campaign mode where you can play series of missions to accomplish. If this is not good enough, you can also login to the online multiplayer mode. Challenge up to eight different friends of yours. Do not forget to hook up your tablet or smartphone to a decent WiFi network first, unless you want a laggy air battle.
Sky Gamblers: Rise to Glory require you to do different sets of acrobatic movements to win each mission. You need to learn how to do dodge, do tail chases, and more. Make sure that you always keep an eye on enemy’s and your own position. That is the main key to avoid emergency landing or tragic crash. For an Android game, Sky Gamblers: Rise to Glory feature magnificent graphics. You will be taken to different landscape like French countryside to rough Alpy heights. Talk about plane types, Namco decide to rip actual designs from the old day. What makes me surprised is that the game is currently sized at 40MB only. This is mean that any Android 2.2 Froyo or above can run this game without any problem.
Overall, Sky Gamblers: Rise of Glory seems deserve to be entitled as the best flight simulator game for Android. It is able to bring the console-like experience that you knew and love before. In order to advance into the next mission, you need to spend couple of bucks on upgrades and in-game purchases.tags: Flight, game, Namco, Review, Simulator, Sky Gamblers, Sky Gamblers: Rise to Glory
