Since HTC One X+ finally get it’s official announcement, the Taiwan based company now have the right weapon to take on Samsung’s Galaxy S III. It seems like the competition will heat up a bit by the end of this year since LG and Motorola also recently unveil their latest arsenal: Optimus G and Droid RAZR M. However, what makes HTC One X+ and Galaxy S III stay ahead of other competitors is the fact that both of them released with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board or has been upgraded with such Android OS.

So, HTC is finally reveal their next big thing, then what will happen to One X and One S? Well, there is no way that you can squeeze quad-core CPU inside your One X or One S to match One X+ performance (unless your comfortable with the word “overclock”). But when it comes to software, you might have the chance to match One X+.

HTC is recently make a new official statement that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for both One X and One S will become available for download “later this month”. Based on my experience, this is mean that the update might be released on October 31th, next month, or even on December! This is happen because the update must be confirmed by each carrier before it is released OTA. But if you own the unlocked HTC One X or One S, you might be able to start your Jelly Bean party at the end of this month.
