How to Install ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.1.2 Image on Galaxy S III I9300

In order to install a custom ROM on your Android handset, you need to have it installed with custom recovery ROM like ClockworkMod. That is why i am quite excited to know that ClockworkMod Touch Recovery 6.0.1.2 is now already available for Galaxy S III I9300. This is mean you can install some custom ROM and additional modification to your S III now. Today, i will tell you how to install the CWM ROM on GT-I9300.

Before we get started, make sure that your handset is already meet these following conditions. First, it has to be rooted. Second, charge your Galaxy S III until it reach it’s maximum power. Third, enable the USB Debugging mode by navigating to Settings > Application > Development. Now that you finish with all these prerequisites, we can start the tutorial.

1. Download CWM 6.0.1.2 image and Odin. Connect your S III to the computer and move the recovery image into the root folder of your SD card
2. Remove your handset and turn it off. Now, boot to Download Mode by pressing Volume – and home button altogether
3. Extract Odin and run it on your computer. Connect your Galaxy S III and the ID:COM section in Odin should turn to yellow. Now, click on PDA button and select CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.tar. In order to start the installation process, you need to press the Start button
4. Once the installation complete, your handset will automatically reboot. Wait until home screen appear before you remove it from the computer

Well, that’s all. Your Galaxy S III GT-I9300 is now already installed with ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.1.2. All you have to do is wait for an exciting custom ROM or modification and you can get your CWM ROM some actions!
