Verizon is recently issued an Android 4.0 update for Galaxy Tab 10.1! For real! After long months of waiting Big Red fans now can enjoy the best of Ice Cream Sandwich OS on their 10″ tablet. Although it might taste quite bitter since Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has been around for couple of months now. Anyway, it is still a welcome release, this is mean that Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is now joining Droid Xyboard and Motorola Xoom as Verizon tablets that already running on ICS. Join me right after the break for more details on this.

Aside from making your handset running on Android 4.0, this update will also bring several improvement in deskop, Internet browsing, data usage (now you have special widget for that), and quick panel. Last feature that i mention is very useful to access recent settings that you’ve been changed.

For those of you who love to take and store photos, you will be happy to know that your Galaxy Tab 10.1 will also receive new redesigned Gallery app too. Add that with built-in photo editor and email composer, and you will get a complete tablet to fulfill your multimedia need.
