Sprint Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S 4G Treated with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
Sprint Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S owners, this is a great day for you. If you’re feeling lucky today, that’s because an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is waiting around the corner! Yes, Sprint is already make an official announcement that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for those two handsets will become available today. It will bring couple of new upgrades, including Google Now and highly integrated notification system.
Nexus S 4G will get similar improvement once the update process is complete. Some report say that this new OS will be able to fix an irritating problem on Nexus S that cause scrambled text messages. Other thing that you should know as well is the fact that the update might took quite amount of time before it is finally reach your handset. It could take days or even weeks. Off course such information is not available at Sprint’s official web page yet, but i guarantee that some Nexus S 4G owners will join Jelly Bean frenzy within couple hours.
It’s not the first time for Samsung to release an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for their handset. Previously, the unlocked HSPA+ and International edition of Galaxy Nexus was already receive Android 4.1 update. This is mean that Sprint will become the first carrier in US to receive such OS update.
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was announced for the first time on June 27 or on the same day when Google introduce Nexus 7 tablet. The OS is designed to bring slight improvement in graphics engine and notification system. Jelly Bean also offer Google Now feature that able to provide you with series of required information based on your daily habits.
