Samsung Reveal 16 Devices to Receive Android 4.1 Update
Samsung is officially release Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S III today. Not so long after that, the company decide to send an email of complete Android 4.1 upgradeable devices to The Verge. Does your handset included on this list? Join me right after the break for more details on this.
According to the list, Samsung is plan to release Jelly Bean update for up to 16 different devices. Interestingly, i spotted Galaxy Music among those gadgets. Does this mean that Samsung will release another new device? Probably not. I assume that it’s just a typo for Galaxy Player. Samsung’s iPod-like portable media player that currently run on Android OS.
So, if everything goes according to plan Samsung will release Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy S II LTE, Galaxy Chat, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Ace Plus, Galaxy Mini 2, Galaxy S Duos, Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and Galaxy Note 10.1.
As you might already expect, Samsung refuse to give us any specific release date of these updates. It seems like they’re still work very hard to make stable Android 4.1 stock ROM for those devices.
