Samsung Galaxy S III 4G LTE Head to Australia

Samsung Galaxy S III is finally become available in Australia. Interested customers should be able to grab it via Telstra and Optus. What makes it even greater is that the handset released with 4G LTE Radio! This is mean that both Telstra and Optus will offer quad-core version of Galaxy S III.

In addition, Australian Galaxy S III will running on Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean since the first day. For your information, US edition of the handset was released with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on-board and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core pcrocessors. So, it should be really nice for all Australian customers to have Galaxy S III with all of these goodies.

Optus will be the first Australian carrier that offer Galaxy S III. If everything goes according to plan, they will start taking order for the 4G LTE handset on the middle of this month. On the other hand, Telstra will release their own S III on October. Optus version will support for LTE FDD 800, 1800, 2600MHz spectrum, which manage to provide you with maximum 100Mbps download speed.

Optus will offer blue and white edition. Meanwhile. If you interested on the black and gray edition, you should head to Telstra.
