Punch Hero is an Android game that made for those of you who love to play arcade boxing game. I remember the days when i spend lot of time playing Ready to Rumble on PS1. You will find couple of similarities on Punch Hero. This game has some cartoonish and hilarious characters, weird punching movies, and power ups. Off course this is not a game that will be able to captivate your interested for hours. But if you’re currently have some free time while on subway or in office, you can play Punch Hero to kill times.

Punch Hero-1

Let’s start with the gameplay and controls. Punch Hero offer simple control system. You just have to tap and swipe on screen to execute all punching actions and commands. In terms of gameplay, Punch Hero offer two different modes that you can select right away from the start screen. The first mode is arcade. In this mode, you will try to beat all available boxers to make your way to the top. Opponent’s AI will become harder on each level, so you need to give serious thought on improved stats and type of equipment that you want to pick. Off course these things will be useless if you don’t have no clue about good fighting tactics.

Punch Hero-2

Each time you win a fight, Punch Hero will grant you with coins. The amount of coins that you receive depends on three different parameters: offensive, defensive, and bonus. In order to increase your personal stats, Punch Hero also provide experience points. You can determine what kind of boxer that you want to create. If you want to make a speed demon fighter, then i suggest you to focus on the agility stats.

Like i said earlier, Punch Hero offer plenty of items and equipment that you can buy using coins. You can choose between lot of aesthetic items to improve your boxer’s appearance and skills. But for those of you who’re looking to finish the game, i suggest you to focus on the stats upgrades instead.

Punch Hero-3

First time you play Punch Hero, you might find it difficult to master the control system. Fortunately, the first challenger on arcade mode is designed to provide you with some time to get used to the swipe and tap gesture. After a while, you will feels like that Punch Hero is a Wii game ported for Android. Controls are very intuitive. I don’t even need to look at the on screen buttons to finish a fight.

When it comes to graphic, Punch Hero also looks very similar to Wii game. You will be presented with child oriented graphics. Off course you will see lot of bandages, injury, and bruises, but this game has no blood at all. I have no problem with the audio quality. But i will appreciate this game much better if the developer tend to improve graphics details.
