Motorola Droid RAZR M, Droid RAZR Maxx, and Droid RAZR HD will be the first android smartphone that completely rely on Google Chrome browser. This statement was made by the company’s official representative on Wednesday.

Google Chrome

For your information, Droid RAZR M was recently get it’s official announcement yesterday. It is currently priced at $99.99 only and will go straight to Verizon shelves. Interested customers should be able to start making their order from today.

Google Chrome will replace Google’s ancient Android stock browser, which is naturally pre-installed in any Android handset released on the planet. However, i am not too surprise with this announcement since Google already take over Motorola’s Mobility since last year. This is an indication that the giant search company already intend to give their full support to Motorola.

Google Chrome for Android was released since few months ago. Back on that time, the beta version was only available Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich device. This also mean that 98% Android device around the world wouldn’t be able to experience the best of Chrome browser. Stable release of Chrome then announced on June 27 or on the same day when the company release Nexus 7 tablet. Since the tablet is currently running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Chrome browser is naturally compatible with the later version of the OS as well. Combine them together and you will get the fact that only 22% of android device on this planet that compatible with Google Chrome browser.

So, there you go. Google Chrome browser will soon become default browser for any Android device that running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or later. I am totally agree that Chrome is the best browser for Android by far, but i will be happy if Google manage to expand the compatibility support.
