This is a great news for those of you who expected something new from LG. The Korean giant is recently suggest that they will throw a special event with Qualcomm in New York to unveil new device. If everything goes according to plan this mysterious device will see the daylight for the first time on September 19th.
As you can see on the invitation above, the silhouette indicate that LG and Qualcomm will reveal new android smartphone. Off course it will be powered by one of Qualcomm’s latest innovation. Unfortunately, that is all i know for now. Guess that we have to wait for couple of day to find out more details on this phone.
However, my friends at Engadget told me that this device will be nothing more than US edition of LG Optimus G. Off course this speculation is certainly makes any sense. Considering the fact that Optimus G is latest flagship handset from LG, there is a great chance for the company to start distribute it around the world soon.
In terms of specs, LG Optimus G is a pretty solid smartphone. It is currently running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and sports 4.7″ True IPS+ HD screen. Deep under it’s surface, lies quad-core Snapdragon processors, LTE Radio, NFC, 2GB RAM, and 32GB internal data storage. Do not forget that it also posses 13 megapixels rear shutter. With all of these goodies, i am pretty sure that there will be plenty of US major carriers interested to pick Optimus G to extend their current Android lineup.tags: Android, LG, Optimus G, Qualcomm, release, smartphone
