iPhone 5 was already get it’s official announcement few days ago. It is packed with some brand new features like bigger screen and 4G LTE radio, although there are lot of customers out there that can’t tell the difference between iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S. So, i think it will be interesting to compare these two handsets. And since i’m a big fan of Android, i decide to feature Galaxy S III as well. How does iPhone 5 stack against these two amazing phones? Let’s find out the answer on complete explanation below!
OS: iPhone 5 is introduced with iOS 6 or similar to iPhone 4S. On the other side, Galaxy S III was presented with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich on board but recently upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Display: Just like i said earlier, iPhone 5 is packed with bigger display size. It is currently measured at 4.0″. On the other hand, iPhone 4S sports 3.5″ touch screen. For those of you who’re looking for better display experience, i suggest you to pick Galaxy S III. The Android is currently carry on 4.8″ screen.
Resolution: This is probably where iPhone 5 manage to stands. It’s LCD screen is currently able to provide 1360 x 640 pixels resolution display. That is something that we call as Retina Display. On the other side, iPhone 4S only manage to deliver 900 x 640 resolution, thanks to it’s small screen. Galaxy S III might only able to give you 1280 x 720 resolution, but according to some review, it has a pretty damn good display quality.
Processors: iPhone 5 is currently powered by A6 quad-core CPU. iPhone 4S got dual-core 1.0GHz chipsets. On the other hand, Galaxy S III carry on Samsung’s own Exynos quad-core processors that clocked at 1.4GHz.
Cameras: iPhone 5 got 1.3 megapixels front-facing camera, while iPhone 4S only got VGA shutter. But when it comes to primary camera unit, both of them carry on similar 8.0 megapixels shutter. On the other side, Galaxy S III is proud to present 1.9 megapixels web camera and 8.0 megapixels primary camera unit.
Connectivity: You should be able to find Bluetooth and WiFi on all these three handsets. iPhone 4S is the only handset that only support for 3G connectivity. On the other side, both iPhone 5 and Galaxy S III are compatible to 4G LTE network.
Storage: iPhones are never build with microSD card slot. That is probably the main reason why Apple release them in plenty of different version. You should be able to pick between 16GB/32GB/64GB edition. On the other side, Galaxy S III only made in 16GB/32GB version. However, you should happy to know that each of them are packed with microSD card slot that able to expand your data storage up to 64GB.
Battery: iPhone 5 promise 8 hours of 4G LTE experience. On the other side, Samsung claim that Galaxy S III is able to survive for up to 11 hours with 3G network turned on.
