HTC Unleash 5″ Phablet Called as DIx
Following the same step as LG and Samsung, HTC is recently reported to prepare unleash their own phone-tablet (phablet) this year! judging by it’s color stripe, it seems like this mysterious device will go straight to Verizon shelves.
HTC Source suggest that the handset will feature 5.0″ touch screen with 1080p HD display. It should be more than enough to provide you with maximum 1794 x 1080 pixels resolution of image and video. In terms of pixels density, this brand new HTC device reported to score magnificent 480ppi. In addition, it will also shipped with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and other amazing features on board.
There’s no official name for this handset yet, but the web page note that it is currently code named as DIx. I believe that it should goes for Droid Incredible X. Just look at the leaked image above, you should see the red stripping on it’s sides. That should remind you of the last Droid Incredible design right?
DIx is also expected to come out with quad-core Snapdragon S4 processors, 1.5GB RAM, and 16GB internal data storage. HTC is also reported to include microSD card slot, removable battery unit, and LED light for message, charging, or phone call notifications.
Since it has big screen, lot of speculation on the Internet says that DIx will take on similar device like LG Intuition and Galaxy Note II. However, HTC source said that DIx won’t be released with it’s own Stylus Pen like HTC Flyer. It seems like this handset won’t be nothing but a massive android handset.
If everything goes according to plan, we might be able to see this handset for the first time in New York on Wednesday. HTC is scheduled to have an official press conference at that time. Keep an eye on my web page for more updated news on this.
