HP Bender Benchmark Test Reveal Qualcomm S4 CPU and Android 4.0.4
HP’s own mobile operating system, WebOS was not developed anymore. In other words, it’s dead already. That is the main reason why the company hasn’t release any tablet or smartphone in the couple of months since last years. However, that doesn’t mean that they won’t give another shot on it. According to HP’s CEO Meg Whitman, the company is currently working on something for the future.
Ms Whitman said that the company is not rush to release new smartphone to the market. They want to learn from their mistakes in the past. However, i still don’t have any idea whether HP will put their money on Android, Windows Phone or rebirth their own WebOS system. Off course the CEO refuse to unveil such interesting information. However, thanks to a leaked benchmark test, i can tell you for sure that HP is indeed working on new smartphone.
It is currently code named as Bender and powered by Qualcomm S4 dual-core processors. So, it is an Android phone after all. The CPU is currently clocked at 1.5GHz. You should be able to experience 1366 x 720 pixels resolution display. HP Bender will also shipped with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich on board.
There is still no information or even speculation on what will the phone look like or when HP decide to unveil it. Nearest mobile event in my calendar is MWC 2013 on February. Can we see HP Bender on that time? Well, make sure that you keep an eye on my webpage here for more update on this news guys.
