Gears and Guts Review
If Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies and Dead Triggers do not have enough zombie for you, Gears & Guts is probably the kind of game that you’re currently looking for. Some of you might think that this is just another game with Zombies on it. But wait, guys. Gears & Guts offer different genre and gameplay. It manage to combine two different things, cars and heavy machine, into a single addictive game. Interested? Then you should read my complete Gears and Guts review here!
In Gears and Guts you will control a car, run over zombies and accomplish few goals. Missions on this game are quite various. Sometime you will be asked to transport people to a checkpoint, deliver special package or kill certain amount of zombies. For each goal that you manage to finish, you will be granted with points, cards, and money. Use these items to unlock more power up, cars, and other things. By the end of your mission, you will be taken to your garage where you can do some modification on your car.
Gears and Guts allow you to load your car with different kind of weapon. However, you must remember that each car has it’s own pros and cons. Aside from acceleration and handling, you will find that some car might allow you to equip a certain type of weapon, while others don’t. So, you better be wise in picking your car depend on what mission that you’re into. Gears and Guts offer lot of weapon and powerups. You can equip your vehicle with gatling gun, spread spikes on the road, and use attach flamethrowers on your car sides.
Like i said earlier, by the end of your mission, you will be taken to your garage where you can adjust car’s setting. This is also the time when you can use your picked spare cards. These cards are scattered along each stages, so you need to keep an eye on them if you want to get more weapons and power ups. But be careful guys, this system will make you easily toss some valuable weapons or parts that you already have. Gears and Guts also offer possibilities to buy add on using real money. You will be able to purchase unique cars with shape like roller skaters, knight’s helm, or Scooby Doo’s Mystery Machine.
When it comes to control, Gears and Guts offer two different system: Gyroscope and button controls. Both of them work flawless at the moment. I manage to drive the car with ease. If you want to use the weapon, you just point your car towar zombies and the game will do the rest. The reaction is pretty fluid and won’t interrupt your gaming experience. Gears and Guts also manage to deliver fine graphics quality, although it is quite hard for me to tell where is the zombie is.
So, if you’re looking for a fun car-based game, Gears and Guts is worth enough to try. It is currently available for download at Google Play store.
