Expedia Hotels Review

Expedia Hotels is perfect companion if you plan to travel somewhere far in last minute. This android app will make your job easier when it comes to booking hotel room, finding the best offer, or locate nearby hotels. With few taps, you should be able to read useful information about hotels around your current location. Swipe through the app interface to look at all those hi-res preview images. Once you install and launch Expedia Hotels, the app will immediately take advantage from GPS feature on your handset to determine your current location. You will be able to find information about thousands of nearby hotels within seconds. There is also calendar app that allow you to make small notes that has something to do with your trip. If you plan to take your kid and wife, Expedia Hotels also have specific function to include them on your trip plan.

Just like any other travel app, Expedia Hotels allow you to sort all Hotels that you recently find with specific parameters. You can view them based on distance, price, or just simply show “high rated hotels.” When i decide to launch the app, i notice that there are two stand out features. First, it has special green annotation that allow you to show sales hotel (the one that offer special price). On the other hand, you can tap on small globe icon to mark the hotel location on map. If you are happen to live in high dense city like New York, mark an exact location will be more helpful than saving the current Hotel address.

Once you already find a hotel that able to caught your interest, you should tap on the Book Now button. Normally, each hotel will present you with four different accommodation (room). Just tap on the photo of room that you want and you can book your room right away. If you’re somehow interested to make another booking in the near future, you can include other information like billing, credit, and guests data. This is happen because Expedia Hotels is not packed with auto fill function, so you have to manually typed all your data on those form.

Overall, Expedia Hotels really does what it has to be. It is able to determine locations of nearby hotels in less than a minute. However, if you’re looking for the best offer and price, you should use another app. Unlike Priceline.com, Expedia Hotels feature no roulette-styles deals. But i really appreciate the fact that it has a solid sorting and categorizing function.
