Dead Triggers Review
Dead Trigger is a first person shooter game made for Android platform. It allow players to kill as many zombies as they can and trade their points with new weapon, ammo’s, and unlockables. At first glance, this game seems offer similar thrill to other zombies shooter game. Or is it? If you interested to find out more about Dead Trigger for Android, you better read my complete review here.
In terms of graphics, i am proudly tell you that Dead Trigger is the best good-looking 3rd person shooter game ever made for Android so far. The environment and zombies details are amazing. Off course it’s still nowhere near to console quality, but certainly your eyes will be pleased by 3D render images from Dead Triggers.
Dead Triggers is a mission based game. You will start your adventure in different places where there’s no other way out than penetrate directly into bunch of zombies rally. Off course you need to achieve different goals on each mission, which makes Dead Triggers really interesting to play. While you walk around the area, you can fire your arm to kill zombies that currently block your path. For those of you who already play Left for Dead, i promise that you will feel like home.
But the problem is Dead Triggers’ missions are quite repetitive. Sometime, the game will ask you to stay alive for few minutes, kill certain amount of zombies, bring a package to drop zone, or protect something from critical damage. Not to mention that duration for each mission is very short. This is a good nominee for shooting game with low replay value.
However, the control system work really well. The developer manage to place all buttons on the right place. Moving around the character with your left thumb is a great thing to do.If you want to use your weapon, initiate the shooting command with your right fingers. I am also happy to know that the touch button system is very responsive, which is very important for action based game like Dead Trigger.
But it seems like Dead Triggers also have problems with the hit points logic. Although it seems like you stand few feet from a zombie, you can get significant amount of damage. Not to mention that when i start to fire a zombie’s head with handgun, it just won’t die. I just can’t understand why the developer doesn’t put different hit value for each zombie’s body part. Whether they meant to create it that way or it’s just a glitch, i really have no clue. I am also feel stressed knowing the fact that my character is not able to sprint. It means that i have to walk in slow pace while avoid those zombies. Off course it will be better if we can just wipe away zombies with hands when they stand near our character, but that is not possible in Dead Triggers.
Overall, Dead Trigger is a top-notch game. It is quite disappointing that this game doesn’t have any multiplayer mode, but i can live with that. The developer is recently make it available for free at Google Play, so you should give it a shot.
