Amazon Kindle Fire HD Unveiled with Faster CPU Than Tegra 3!

Just like everyone is expected, Amazon finally release new Kindle Fire tablet on the press conference that was held two days ago. But what me surprised is the fact that they come out with three new Kindles at once! Ready to meet them? Join me right after the break for more details.

First, we’ve got a new 7″ Kindle Fire. As you might already expected, there is nothing new in major here. For me, it’s nothing more than upgraded version of previous Kindle Fire. According to Amazon, this tablet will be able to provide 40% better performance. All is possible thanks to faster processors and double amount of RAM. Amazon also implement new battery unit that promised to bring longer battery life. Interested customers should be able to grab it on September 14th for $159 only.

Other two tablets that Amazon present on their press conference is Kindle Fire HD 7 and 8.9. It is completely different than previous tablet and got all brand new thing that you can expect from Amazon. Both of them are currently powered by dual-core TI OMAP 4470 CPU. Amazon also pack them both with interesting features such as Facebook-Skype apps, dual stereo speakers, double WiFi antennas, MIMO, Kindle Free time app, X Ray for movies and books, and Whipersync.

Aside from those two version, Amazon will also release 8.9″ Kindle Fire HD with 4G LTE radio in the coming weeks. It wll be priced at $499 but you need to subscribe to Amazon’s $49.99 yearly plan. For that amount of money, you will get 250MB monthly data, 20GB cloud storage, and $10 credit added to your Amazon Appstore credit.
