Sony is scheduled to officially unveil Xperia tablet at IFA 2012 event in Berlin, on September. However, thanks to some members of XDA developer forum, we manage to get an early look at this brand new tablet. This leaked image spread around the Internet soon after it was spotted for the first time on a Germany website.
Alongside with the leaked photo, we also manage to pull-out some interesting details about Xperia tablet. It will be powered by Tegra 3 quad-core processors. Other interesting details that you probably want to know include, 1.0 megapixels front-facing camera, 8.0 megapixels rear shutter, 6,000mAh battery unit, and aluminum unibody.
There are also pricing details revealed. Xperia tablet with 16GB internal memory will priced at $399.99, while to grab the 32GB model you should pay no less than $499.99. Still not enough? Then you might want to purchase the 64GB model, which is currently priced at $599.99. If everything goes according to plan, these tablets should be commercially available in the coming months.
For those of you who are hoping for early Android 4.1 Jelly Bean experience, forget it. Xperia tablet is predicted to run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, although there is a huge possibility that Sony will release Jelly Bean update at some point. In terms of display, Xperia tablet sports 9.4″ screen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.
However, since there is no official statement from Sony, you better not take all these rumores too seriously. I hope that it will happen for real.tags: Android 4.0, date, ICS, Image, leaked, photo, Pictures, release, Render, Sony, Tablet, xPeria
