Samsung Galaxy Pocket Released in UK on September

Samsung Galaxy Pocket, the company’s cheapest Android, will be available for purchase in UK in September. Three will be one of the first carrier to sold the handset in the country. Off course there’s a chance that other carrier will sell Galaxy Pocket as well, but i haven’t receive any news about that until now. If you interested on this handset, you better keep an eye on Three’s web page. Galaxy Pocket is currently listed as coming soon device.

There is still no pricing or exact release date tipped right now. So there is nothing that we can do but to wait until September. Aside from being the cheapest, Galaxy Pocket is also the smallest Android smartphone from Samsung.

Officially announced in March, Galaxy Pocket sports 2.8″ touch screen with 240 x 320 pixels resolution. Deep under it’s hood, lies 800Mhz single-core processors. There is 2.0 megapixel camera lies on it’s back side. Galaxy Pocket also has 3GB internal memory that supported by microSD card slot. Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, this handset is currently rely on 1,200mAh battery unit for it’s main power source.
