Samsung Galaxy Camera Unveiled at IFA 2012

Samsung Galaxy Note II is not the only Android device that the Korean giant announce at IFA Berlin 2012. In order to expand their product lineup, Samsung proudly present their first Android based camera! As you might already expect, this device is called as Galaxy Camera. I know that camera device that running on Android is not a new concept, but when big company like Samsung decide to get into the business, you better keep an eye on it.

Specs-wise, Galaxy Camera posses 16.0 megapixels BSI CMOS sensor. It should be able to provide users with 21x optical zoom, which allow them to capture long shot without getting any blur or noise. In order to control camera function, you will rely on the 4.8″ touch screen attached on the rear side.

Galaxy Camera is made for casual users. But if you want to get yourself a professional touch on your snapshot, you can activate the Smart Pro Mode. It allow you to do such things like fast-shoot, light capture, and color exposure. I am pretty sure that you will be able to get some good DSLR-like photos without exploring all those overwhelming settings that only professional photographer know about.

Aside from capture still image, Galaxy Camera will be a good device to record video. It is able to capture motion object in 120 frame rate per second. All of them will be displayed in full HD resolution. Since the device is currently running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, you can share lot of multimedia content between other device. Samsung also explain that there’s a sharing widget that allow you to share your photos directly to your favorite social media sites.
