There are plenty of apps that allow us to talk to our phone right now. But so far, they’re only offer limited function like texting, send emails, initiate search engine, take voice note, etc. But how if you want to pay your monthly expenses via voice command? Is that even possible?
Thanks to Nuance, you can now take your conversation with your gadget into the next level. Nuance is a company that know for their voice based apps and services. One of their best creation known as Dragon Dictation. But i am not gonna talk about it today. Instead of that, i will present you their latest invention called as Nina. It is a voice platform that useful to enhance customer service application with Siri-like voice control interface.
I must consider myself as a lucky reviewer since they grant my wish for a demo version of Nina. Although it is still on beta, Nina is already able to recognize speech, convert text to speech, and understand natural language. Not to mention that the app is also packed with voice-ID biometric technology. All of these information will be hosted into a specific cloud server. Bank, insurance companies, and other business can take advantage from it to improve their online service.
Nuance said that their main mission is to bring a specific personality or “persona” to Nina. How they do that? By creating a specific API and SDK that make other companies can access the app easier. In other words, if you already familiar with Siri, you should be able to work around with Nina in no time. Like i said earlier, you will be able to pay your bills only by “talking” to your handset.
Remember, since Nina is optimized for banking use, you don’t have to worry about it’s security. Nina is packed with voice based authentication. This is mean that no one else will be able to access your bank account unless they have similar voice to yours, which is practically impossible.
