Motorola: No Bootloader Tool for Old Devices

For those of you who wish that Motorola will provide bootloader tool for their older device, you better start to look for other alternative to crack your Moto’s security policy. Today, the Canadian company is officially announced on their Twitter account that there won’t be no bootloader tool old cracks like Droid Bionic, Droid 3, and Droid X2. The company said that these handsets are not “currently in plan.”

This is mean that they will provide nothing at all. Bootloader tool is now only available for Motorola Xoom, Photon Q 4G LTE, and European RAZR Developer Edition.

I don’t have any idea if they will plan to release such tool for Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR Maxx, although Motorola has already made it clear that if the device is older than six months, there will be no bootloader. However, Droid RAZR Maxx HD release date is on the horizon now. It might change the game a bit since it is made based on the same framework to original RAZR and RAZR Maxx.

What do you think about this guys? Does Motorola manage to ruin your day with this bootloader announcement?
