LG Optimus G Introduced on September. Head to Sprint with 4G LTE Radio
LG will soon release new Android handset caled as Optimus G. This news come out straight from one of the biggest news portal in Asia, Asia Today. They said that LG is already circle a specific date on September to unveil Optimus G. Previously known as LG “G”, the handset will be available in South Korea and other foreign markets on the same time. This is mean that the company will prepare a global scale launch event in weeks.
US customers should get ready to welcome LG Optimus G as well. According to latest report, Sprint will become one of local carrier that pick Optimus G as part of their Android lineup. It might be sold as LG Eclipse 4G LTE, which we already heard before few months ago. Perhaps the carrier will introduce it to expand their LTE handset forces.
Like i said earlier Optimus G will be fully compatible with LTE network. But unlike Samsung Galaxy S III, it will only work on LTE network on for LTE network only. In terms of specs, Optimus G is a pretty solid Android phone. Its sports 4.5″ touch screen with HD resolution. Deep under it’s chassis, lies quad-core CPU that clocked at 1.5GHz and 2GB RAM. It also posses a massive 13.0 megapixels rear shutter. Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Optimus G offer stylish design formula that we’ve already seen before on L series smartphone.
