Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD Pay Visit to FCC Headquarter
Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD was revealed for the first time at MWC 2012 in Barcelona few months ago. Not too long after that, Huawei’s CEO came out with good news that it will be commercially available soon with sub $500 price tag, which might refer to $499. I am pretty sure that the release date of this tablet is around the corner since it’s promo video was uploaded on the Internet as well and today, Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD pay a visit to FCC headquarter!
According to my FCC guys it’s just similar to the one that i saw before in Barcelona. Packed with 10″ 1920 x 1200 IPS display, this tablet is currently posses 1.2GHz Cortex A9 quad-core processors, 16-core GPU (more powerful than Nexus 7), and a full gigabyte of RAM. There are also dual-camera unit attached. 8.0 megapixels on back and 1.3 megapixels on front. I am quite surprised that it is released with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but there is no need to question whether it is able to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or not.
Off course this FCC means nothing since Huawei doesn’t come out with an official release date, but based on my experience it won’t be too long now. Some people say that it should be start to penetrate the market by the end of August. Maybe after dealing with some documents and paperworks, Huawei will present MediaPad 10 FHD in US.
