HTC finally roll-out an Android 4.0.4 update for HTC One X. The update brings not only 4.0.4 Android Ice Cream update but also tweaked HTC Sense interface to the phone.
If you live in the UK, the Taiwan company will begin the ICS update on Friday. But, HTC spokesman still don’t give any clue, when the update will begin on other regions.

“The primary update will include an upgrade to Android version 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich), in addition to an improved Sense experience which will enable the ability to map menu functions to the ‘recent app’ key — improving visual presentation in non-ICS apps like Facebook — and improve tab management in the browser with a dedicated tab-switching button,” HTC said in a statement.

Instead of 4.0.4 update and HTC Sense upgrade, HTC also refined white balance and a continuous auto-focus mode for the HTC One X.
The company also promised to enhance Beats Audio software but, still no details information about the upgrades.

“At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean,” HTC said. “While our goal is to bring the latest software updates to as many of our recent devices as possible, we are committed to maintaining every phone’s performance and usability first.”

According to comments above, I think HTC One X will get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrades too. But, I can only guess.

So, here’s the HTC One X upgrades details :
1. HTC One X upgrades to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich
2. Better HTC Sense
3. Refined white balance and a continuous auto-focus mode
