The Art of Rap Review

Ever wonder to start career as a rapper? Well, unless you have the cash to record your own demo and get it heard by top notch producer, there is no way you will be able to start debut on rap music industry. However, thanks to Android platform, now you can remove those barrier and start to record your own rap tunes with The Art of Rap!

Like i said earlier, The Art of Rap allow you to record your own rap music by providing few free beats and ability to add your own lyrics. The Art of Rap is loaded with two free beats by default. But if you interested to do in-app buy, you should be able to gain access to beats from popular rapper like Snoop Dog, 2Pac, Cypress Hill, and MC Lyte. Within seconds, you should be able to “produce” your own rap music and release it via Facebook or any other social network that you like. It should be a great way to start gaining your popularity since other users will be able to like/dislike your tune and give their rating.

Aside from features that i posted above, The Art of Rap also allow you to create as many mixes that your SD card can handle. The music quality might sound a bit distorted for some users, but that is not the app’s fault. One thing that i love from The Art of Rap is it can make you feel as if you’re a real rapper. Just login to theartofrap.com and you can start to make your rapper and record company profile, sweet! This is mean you will have a mini studio on your pocket, what else that you need now.

However, that doesn’t mean that The Art of Rap has no drawbacks at all. If you type “The Art of Rap” on Google Play store, you won’t be able to find the app page until your scroll down for couple of times. This is strange for popular app like The Art of the Rap. Plus it doesn’t support for too many Android devices right now and there is no way to upload your own tunes to this app. Other thing that i would like to say is, i never love to spend more cash to buy add on or gimmick for an Android app and i’m not plan to do it for The Art of Rap as well. There should be other way for user to unlock those beats, aside from purchasing it. They might want to make us of the rating system. Let’s say that if your tune get 100 good rating, you will be able to unlock some more beats. This will build a good environment for the app.

Overall, The Art of the Rap has manage to bring such concept that every artist were only able to dreamed of few years ago. For casual user like me, i really enjoy the experience of being a rapper for couple of minutes. I admit that it is quite fun to hear my own vouce with those rap beats. I only wish that the developer will update the app with more free beats. That should be able to attract more users.
