Android 4.0 Update for Toshiba Thrive 10 (Finally) Released!

While other devices are still being questioned whether they will receive Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update or not, Toshiba Thrive comes late to the Ice Cream Sandwich party. But you know what they said right? It’s better than nothing. Yep, it is finally official guys. Toshiba is recently roll-out Android 4.0 update for the 10″ edition of Thrive tablet. This should be a happy ending for all Thrive owners. After being delayed twice, the update saga is finally come to an end with the release of Thrive 10 Android 4.0 update.

Just like other Android 4.0 update, you should be able to experience some new features like improved mult-tasking feature, face recognition, Google Wallet, NFC, and other usual things from Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich. But wait, Toshiba also prepare another surprise for you. They said that this new update will also improve video-audio performance, camera, and signal strength.

There is still no word on such update for Thrive 7, so guess that you need to stuck with Android 3.2 Honeycomb at the moment.
