Google Nexus 7 is still considered as the best Android tablet until now. With less than $200 cash, you can experience Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with quad-core processors. The 16GB edition of the device was even sold-out at Play Store few weeks ago. This is indicating that customers are hungry for new, reliable, and cheap tablet. So, will other tablet maker do nothing about this?
Apparently, they are not. Acer is the first company to deliver their response to Nexus 7. They are recently release new tablet called as A110, which is considered as better alternative than Nexus 7. It is currently run on Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich, but it has what it takes to run on Android 4.1. So, there is no doubt that Acer will provide an official Jelly Bean this year. Other important thing from A110 is the presence of microSD card slot. This is mean that you can expand your internal memory up to 32GB, something that you can’t do with Google Nexus 7.
Deep under A110 surface, lies Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processors that clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, and 8GB internal data storage. It also has 2.0 megapixel front-facing camera for video call purpose. In addition to microSD card slot, Acer also offer microHDMI port and microUSB ports. Acer A110 display is able to provide maximum 1024 x 600 pixels resolution.
Off course it is quite hard to decide between Google Nexus 7 and Acer. Google is the most trusted name in the Android world, while Acer is already well-known for their impeccable products. But the thing is, Nexus 7 is already available in the market for few weeks now, while Acer A110 still need some time before it is available for purchase. Talk about purchase, Acer Iconia Tab A110 will be sold for £179 only. It is little bit cheaper than Google Nexus 7.
So, the final decision is in your hands guys. Are you willing to sacrifice Google’s support to grab cheaper Acer Iconia Tab A110?tags: Acer, Android 4.0, Android 4.1, Google, Ice Cream sandwich, Iconia Tab A110, Jelly Bean, Nexus 7, price, release, Specs
