Sony Xperia SL Photographed in Blue and Pink Colors

Remember Sony Xperia SL? Leaked few days ago, this unannounced device was expected to become the successor of Xperia S. Mainly because it is tagged with model number LT26ii, while the Xperia S (also known as Ion in other market) is tagged with model number LT26i. Today i manage to retrieve a first leaked image of Xperia SL and i must tell you that i can’t tell the difference between this and Xperia S. So, this handsets must be the upgraded version of Xperia S after all. But don’t take this conclusion for granted guys. We still need to wait official statement from Sony or at least leaked information from legit source.

In the mean time, you can enjoy the first image of Xperia SL that i posted above. As you can see, it’s still feature a transparent stripe beneath it’s display, just like other Xperia handset.

You might also notice that the handset is currently portrayed in two different and unusual colors, pink and dark blue. If i’m not mistaken, these kind of handsets are usually won’t make it’s way outside Japan market. However, considering the fact that it was spotted at Indonesia’s local communication authority few days ago, the habit might about to change this year.

Little is known about Sony Xperia SL specs. All i know is that it might be powered by Qualcomm Snapragon S3 dual-core CPU that clocked at 1.3GHz. Sounds like an old school handset for me, but that’s okay. One thing that i remember from Sony is that they would never use any latest piece of hardware on their new handset.
