HTC Incredible S Android 4.0 Update Roll-Out Now

HTC was already made promise that they will release Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for some of their Android phone this year. However, i’m quite disappointed with how’s their engineering team’s work. So far, the company only release four Ice Cream Sandwich update, while there are still lot of Android device featured on their list. So, i’m literally jump on my feet when i’ve heard that HTC Incredible S receive it’s official Ice Cream Sandwich update today.

So, grab your handset and see if you already able to pull out the new firmware from the air. You know how to do it right? What? forget it already? Well, all you have to do is navigate to Settings > About Phone > System update. Your phone should do a quick scanning and determine if the new Android 4.0 update is already available for download. Prepare your data storage since the update is currently sized at 250MB. I’m also suggest you to hook up your device into a decent WiFi network first, so the transfer data process won’t be interrupted due to slow network connection.

After few reboots, your HTC Incredible S should running on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. You should be able to experience the HTC Sense 3.6, the brand new UI that developed by the company for the handsets that don’t have what it takes to run the newest HTC Sense 4.0.
