I’m always wonder what is the perfect android smartphone for my parents. They would’ve easily get confused and lost in the list of tons menus on device like HTC One X or Galaxy S III. It is also not too ethical to buy them a kid-friendly tablet like MEEP or Nabi 2. I know that those tablets are packed with simple and easy interface, but am i crazy to buy my parents a tablet that is designed for kids?? Luckily, Fujitsu has the answer for my problem. The company is recently showcased a new Android phone that specially designed for elders.
The handset is feature large fonts and vertical-scrolling only. For me it’s looks like a metro UI on Windows Phone, but without all of it’s complications. Off course it is very easy to use. In fact, Fujitsu is work closely with Google to come out with such UI design. Fujitsu F-12D will become the part of company’s RakuRaku line. For your information, rakuraku is a Japanese word that means “easy”. Want to know how the handset is actually work? check out the video that i posted below.
There’s no need to explain that i am very excited with this innvoation. I can’t wait to have a nice whatsapp chat with my parents. Especially when i do not have time to make a phone call. But my question is, will this product make it’s way outside Japan?
What about you guys? Do you feel that Fujtsu is making a break through in the smartphone industry with this phone?tags: Android, Elder, F-12D, Fujitsu, handset, Old, People, Phone
