Samsung Galaxy Tabs Get Android 4.0 Update in July

Thanks to our guys at SamMobile, we manage to find out that Samsung will release Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for some old Galaxy Tabs tablet. The web page also noted that most of those updates should start to roll-out on next month.

If this information is accurate, then the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich should be available for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi, 10.1 WiFi+3G, Galaxy Tab 8.9 WiFi, 8.9 WiFi+3G, Galaxy Tab 7.7 WiFi, 7.7 WiFi+3G, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus WiFi, and 7.0 Plus WiFi+3G. The report said that the update should be available for download in July or August.

Aside from new firmware update, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for Galaxy Tabs are also promised to bring some tweaks like battery improvement, better multi tasking, and system speed.
