Soon after Samsung release Galaxy Note S III, there are plenty of experts believe that the world have just become the witness of the best Android smartphone ever made. No wonder why there are high demand for Galaxy S III around the world. It is said that the company is already receive up to 9 millions pre-order for this device.

Samsung Galaxy S III vs iPhone 4S

Some people think that this phone is even have what it takes to beat Apple’s iPhone 4S. We can’t agree more with that since Galaxy S III is packed with high end hardware specs and offer unique feature like wireless charging. But we can make a conclusion that fast before we put both of them into a side by side comparison to see which one is the best.

OS: Samsung Galaxy S III is running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It is Google’s latest mobile platform that offer some powerful function like multitasking, new notifications system, completely customizable home screen, and deep interactivity. On the other hand, iPhone 4S is currently work under iOS 5. But it is upgradeable to iOS 6. According to Apple’s official statement at WWDC 2012 few weeks ago, the new iOS 6 will posse new features like Facebook integration, new map app, built-in ticket management, and many more.

Processors and Memory: Samsung Galaxy S III is currently powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processors. It is also accompanied by a full gigabyte of RAM and 6/32/64GB internal data storage. There’s no need to worry about running out of data space since there’s a microSD card slot that can read up to 32GB memory. On the other hand, iPhone 4S fall short with 1GHz dual-core CPU and 1GB RAM. Just like Galaxy S III it is available in 16/32/64GB version. Sadly, all of them are not packed with microSD card slot.

Display: Samsung Galaxy S III sports 4.8″ touch screen with Super AMOLED technology. It is able to provide maximum 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and 306ppi pixels density. There’s no need to worry about damage from dust or scratch since it is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 2. On the other hand, iPhone 4S posses 3.5″ TFT screen with 960 x 640 pixels resolution. In terms of pixels desity, the device is currently measured at 330ppi.

Camera: Samsung Galaxy S III packed with dual-cameras unit. 8.0 megapixels on back and 1.9 megapixels on front. You should be able to take some great photos and videos using the image stabilizer and mix feature. On the other hand, iPhone 4S also posses dual-camera unit. 8.0 megapixels as primary and VGA as secondary.

Battery: Samsung Galaxy S III offer 11 hours of talk time, thanks to it’s massive 2,100mAh battery unit. On the other hand, iPhone 4S only offer 8 hours battery life via it’s 1,432mah battery.
