Motorola Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR Maxx Android 4.0 Update Handed to Beta Testers

This is a great news for the owners of Droid RAZR Maxx (read our review) and Droid RAZR. Few last week has been a frustrating moment for you since there are plenty rumors about the Android 4.0 update for both of those phone, but none of them were able to confirm when the update will exactly start to roll out. Today, we finally see some light in cloud, as Motorola push out the Droid RAZR Maxx and Droid RAZR Android 4.0 update for beta testers. Just pray that all goes well and we might able to see the actual update released within weeks.

Motorola Droid RAZR Android 4.0 Update

Motorola is recently send text messages to all Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR Maxx owners via Verizon. They stated that the update should be available soon. According to Droid-Life the beta testers is now hand out with Android 4.0 ICS build version 6.16.211. If you have enough guts and interested to try, you can hit this link and flash it to your handset right away.

Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR Maxx are both very popular android handset. The Android 4.0 update for those device has been leaked on a video few weeks ago. That’s why we expect the actual update to be released in the next few weeks. As soon as the update process complete, the owners of both Droids can experience such new features like face unlock, new UI, and better multitasking.
