This is a great news for the proud owners of Motorola Droid Bionic. Today, an Android 4.0.4 build for the handset has been leaked and available for download. This is not too surprising actually. Motorola already made promise few months ago that Droid Bionic will taste Ice Cream Sandwich this year. The things is, we have no idea when it will exactly happen. However, this leaked build could be the tips that an official Android 4.0.4 update is on it’s way soon.

We hope that Verizon and Motorola will work closely to bring the stable version of Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich to Droid Bionic. But if you can’t wait until that happen, you can download and install the leaked version. Latest report suggest that even Droid Bionic with stock ROM can use this update without any problem. Other users said that this leaked Android 4.0.4 bring better screen brightness and quite stable for an initial release.

If you interested to try the leaked update, you should flash the file using the Bionic’s stock .905 recovery from the latest OTA update. We have no idea when the official release will be released, but some of our tipsters suggest that it should be available within the next 2 or 4 weeks.
