It seems like that LG Optimus LTE2 is not the only Optimus handset that LG plan to release in the near future. Some of our tipsters suggest that the Korea based company will release new Optimus it, tagged with model number L-05D, in Japan. The handset will be available for purchase in one of the country’s largest carrier, NTT DoCoMo.
Specs-wise, LG Optimus it can be considered as entry level android smartphone. The only thing that make us interested is the fact that it is currently powered by dual-core MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 processors from Qualcomm, which clocked at 1.5GHz. Other features are not too special actually. In terms of display, the phone sports 4.0″ touch screen with 480 x 800 and IPS display technology. There are dual-camera unit attached. 8.0 megapixels on back and 0.3 megapixels on front. In order to accompany the S4 CPU, LG also include a full gigabyte of RAM, 8GB internal data storage, and microSD card slot. 2G, 3G, 4G, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity are all supported. Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, this handset is rely on a 1.650mAh battery unit for it’s main power source.
If everything goes according to plan, NTT DoCoMo will start selling this phone in June 30. The device should be released in three different colors: white, black, pink, and purple.
