Lenovo ThinkPad Android 4.0 Update Roll-Out Today

Android 4.0 update for Lenovo ThinkPad was supposed to roll-out on the second quarter of this year and it seems like the company is manage to keep their own deadline on this. The Ice Cream Sandwich firmware for ThinkPad tablet is already available for download. For those of you who are happen to own the tablet, you should expect an official notification regarding to Ice Cream Sandwich update within few hours.

There’s no need to prepare for USB cable or desktop computer since the update is released as Over The Air update. It’s just a matter of time before you receive the information about the Android 4.0 update availability on your ThinkPad tablet.

If you’re not sure if the new update is already reach your device, you can always perform a manual check. Just navigate to Settings > About Tablet > Software update. The device will run a quick scan to see if the new firmware is already available for download.
