Kindle Fire 2 HD Debut Tipped for July 31st
CNET is recently come out with an interesting news about Kindle Fire 2 release date. According to their anonymous source who claims to “familiar with this matter” the tablet will be officially launched by Amazon on July 31st. This speculation came out soon after some of our tipsters suggest that Kindle Fire 2 might come out on Q3 2012 with better OS and hardware specs.
If this news is accurate, Kindle Fire 2 HD will heat up the competition of 7″ tablet this summer. Google is expected to launch Nexus 7 tablet at I/O Conference tomorrow. On the other side, Apple is also predicted to release the new iPad Mini by the end of this year. Both of those tablets are predicted to take on Amazon Kindle Fire’s place as the owner of half tablet market.
Kindle Fire HD was spotted for the first time few weeks. It sports 7″ touch screen, just like it’s predecessor. It is able to provide maximum 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. Other source also told us that Amazon is prepare two more tablet this year. The first will carry on 8.9″ screen, while others feature standard 10.1 inch display.
Meanwhile, as soon as Kindle Fire 2 HD enter the market, the old Kindle Fire will be offered for $149 only. This is mean that you will be able to grab the 7″, $50 cheaper than it’s original price. However, you should be aware that this cheap version of Kindle Fire might feature some ad service included on the screen saver. It will automatically enabled when users put their Kindle Fire into sleep mode.
