Apple iOS 6 vs Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Just few minutes after Google release android Jelly Bean released, there are lot of people that already talk about how’s this new OS will go against Apple’s latest iOS6. Well, personally, i think that there’s no way iOS better than Android as long as the company still insist to close their curtain. Hey, it’s an open world right? that is why we need some good open source that can be developed by worldwide community like Android. Off course some of you who that not too interested in modding and developing might prefer to use iOS, but what is the point of own a smartphone if you’re unable to experience the most of it? here’s few reason why Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is better than iOS. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s check out our comparison

Voice recognition. Yes we know, it’s all about Siri again. Some of my friends was already praise this features and said that Google will never able to create such great digital voice app in the next 50 years. Well, i guess that all them should shut their mouth right now because Jelly Bean now posses a highly revamped voice search engine! Yay. You can now even makes it work even if you’re currently on an area where no Internet connection is available. Google explained that Jelly Bean’s new voice search is able to handle some function like general inquiries and map directions. That is one-nil to Google guys.

Google Wallet. Still carrying your purse around? Well, unless you live in a remote Island, i might think you as a freak. We are living in the world of NFC right now people. You can use wireless connection to handle all your payment need. Thanks to the Android Beam, you will only have to tap your handset in the cashier counter to buy a cup of Starbucks coffee. In the new Android Jelly Bean, this feature is already enabled too. On the other hand, Apple iOS 6 is now packed with the Passbook app. It is an integrated system that able to manage all your tickets, reservation, coupons, and loyalty cards. However, the device itself is not support for NFC. So, you may use Passbook for everyday use, but to replace your wallet? nope. So, guess that Google manage to score another point on this battle.

Maps. Apple might decide to dump Google Map from iOS 6 and launch their own navigation app, but it won’t be such problem for the giant search company. Google knew that there are lot of customers will know which Map app that able to bring the best features. For your information, Google Map is now suppport for an actual 3D-rendered map navigation. Not to mention that you are now allowed to open a pre-saved map data and view it in offline mode!

App stores. Apple come out with it’s App store, while Google still insist to develop the Play Store to become better marketplace. Both of them now offer tons of useful and entertaining apps. While Apple claim that their marketplace is the safest in the world, Google Play store is manage to gather interest from more than a million developers around the world. Why? First, you don’t have to pay for hefty licensing. Two, you can publish your apps from nearly anywhere around the world.
