Samsung SGH-T999 was emerged on the web earlier this year. Judging by it’s model number, the handset is more likely head to T-Mobile. There were many speculations about the actual form of the handset. Now, a new evidence discovered and it seems like the mysterious device might turn out to be the Samsung Galaxy S III.
This news was retrieved from Android Police. The web page manage to get an interesting video from TMoNews that shows SGH-T999 included on the AllShare feature. As you can see on the picture we posted above, the model number SGH-T999 was clearly displayed among all list of Galaxy S III variants. For your information, T-Mobile is already become the house for Samsung Galaxy S II, which is currently tagged with model number SGH-T989.
Of course this is not a solid evidence that Galaxy S III will indeed head to T-Mobile. However, there’s a great chance for that since the carrier is already support for HSPA+ network. Personally, we believe that T-Mobile needs a new flagship android smartphone this year. The magenta carrier already miss the chance to pick Samsung Galaxy Nexus and iPhone 4S. If they don’t want to loose market to other competitor, then Galaxy S III is the perfect pick for the latest member of their android lineup.
As we mention above, T-Mobile’s network is only support for HSPA+ network, no 4G LTE. It might sound bad for those of you who’re looking for faster Internet speed, but it also open the chance for the quad-core Exynos version of Galaxy S III to enter US market. As you might already know, Exynos CPU is not support for LTE network at the moment. That’s why Samsung decided to swap it with the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core CPU.
T-Mobile is not the only US carrier that rumored to launch Samsung Galaxy S III. Yesterday, a classified user agent profile shows that other variant of Galaxy S III might head to Sprint in the near future. For you information, the handset is scheduled to arrive at US on June this year.
