T-Mobile Prism 3G Hit the Market in May 6th
T-Mobile is already start selling the HTC One S. Furthermore, the phone-tablet hybrid Galaxy Note will also arrive at the magenta carrier in the near future. This is mean that now is the time for the company to look for new device to refresh their low-end android device lineup. Huawei is more than capable to supply this kind of device. TmoNews is recently suggest that the T-Mobile Prism 3G will be available for purchase on May 6th.
As we mention earlier, T-Mobile Prism 3G is intended to fill in the low-end Android smartphone lineup of the magenta carrier, so you shouldn’t expect anything fancy from it. This smartphone sports 3.5 inch touch screen with 480 x 320 pixels resolution. We have no information about what kind of processors and amount of RAM that currently used on the device. However, we can confirm that Prism 3G will carry on 3.2 megapixels rear shutter and pre-installed 2GB memory card.
T-Mobile Prism 3G is currently run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Considering the fact that it is build to become a low-end android phone, there probably no Android 4.0 update released. As it name implies, the handset is only support for 3G connectivity. Means that you have no access for T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network. If everything goes according to plan, the handset should be available in red and grey colors. No pricing scheme revealed yet, but we believe it will goes around $50 with 2 years contract period.
