Samsung Galaxy Beam and Galaxy Ace 2 Powered by Nova Thor CPU

Instead of Exynos CPU, two new mid-range android handset from Samsung, Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy Beam, will be powered by Nova Thor CPU. This news was retrieved directly from ST-Ericsson. The Ace 2 will be powered by dual-core Nova Thor CPU that clocked at 800MHz, while the Beam will carry on 1GHz dual-core Nova Thor chipset.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 was already introduced at Carphone Warehouse in UK. However, the retailers noted that the handset won’t be available for purchase until April. There are also some other retailer that offer Ace 2 for free, under some contract agreement of course. Specs-wise, this handset is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. German people also able to purchase this handset by now. Amazon.de is currently ask 283.99 euros for it.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Beam make it’s public debut at MWC 2012 Barcelona. It is the second handset from Samsung that feature built-in pico projector. This device is not available in the market yet, but should be arrive on this quarter. Same as Ace 2, it is also packed with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. In terms of display, the handset posses 4.0 inch touch screen with WVGA resolution.
