LG Optimus LTE2 is Galaxy S III Contender with 2GB RAM!
Samsung is kept their promise by introducing the Galaxy S III in London today. However, the handset is not packed with as powerful hardware specs as expected before. There are no ceramic chassis, 12.0 megapixels rear shutter, or touch screen with 1080p resolution. Well, if you disappointed already with the handset, we have a great news for you. Not so long ago, LG release the new Optimus LTE2. Based on the hardware specs, this handset deserve all the chance to become Galaxy S III rival!
We are still unable to get the whole picture of Optimus LTE2 specs, but from what we already know, this handset is really bad ass. It is packed with 2GB RAM, true IPS display technology with HD resolution, 2,150mAh battery unit (quite large for today’s smartphone), Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and the wireless charging ability!
There’s still no explanation about what kind of processors that will power this device. LG only noted that Optimus LTE2 will be released in five different Korean carrier. Three of them are already plan to reveals it in May. Unfortunately, LG refused to come out with an exact release date. They also remain silent when they’re asked about the possibility to bring this handset to US and Europe.
We are also have no idea for how much they will ask for the handset.
LG has already announce quite lot of android smartphone this year. It seems like they’re trying to provide something for everyone. Starts with the L-Style series, the company is also announce their first quad-core device, LG Optimus 4X few months ago. Not to mention that they are also ready to take on Samsung’s Galaxy Note with their own stylus-compatible device, Optimus Vu.
