HTC Amaze 4G Android 4.0 Update Available Now

Just as promised before, the Android 4.0 update for T-Mobile HTC Amaze 4G is now available for download guys. If you’re happen to own the handset, we suggest you to hurry grab yours and check if the new OS already reach your device.

According to T-Mobile’s official statement, this update will bring series of improvement and fixes to HTC Amaze 4G. Soon after you complete the download and installation process, you should be able to experience both Android 4.0 software and HTC Sense 3.6, a special UI modification that build for the HTC handset that unable to run HTC Sense 4.0.

This is probably the busiest week for T-Mobile. Previously, the magenta carrier release similar update for HTC Sensation.

Aside from Android 4.0 and HTC Sense 3.6, the update will also bring new feature like system bar, resizable widgets, lock screen, data usage, face unlock, home screen folder, and improved battery lifetime.

If you’re not sure if the update already reach your handset, there’s a method to check it manually. You can navigate to Settings > About Phone > System Update. The smartphone will run a quick scan to see if the system update already available. The download button should appear, all you have to do is tap on it and let the handset do the rest. After few reboot, your HTC Amaze 4G should run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
