Plume for Twitter. This app is packed with gorgeous interface, but it can’t be confusing for first time user. There are plenty of buttons and panel that currently located on the sides. If you’re not too familiar with the app, there are a great chance that you will accidentally press ‘em. However, this app separate your tweets into three different tabs: Newsfeed, @replies, and Direct Messages. Not only one, but you can also manage up to five Twitter account at once. Seesmic. Unlike the Plume for Twitter, this one allow you to manage multiple social media accounts at once. This is mean that you are allowed to access your Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare, and Google Buzzer. However, this app is only work best with Twitter. When we try to open Google Buzzer, the image looks little bit grainy. Not to mention that switching between accounts is not as smooth as on TweetDeck. But the best side is that this app is packed with simple interface, which should a welcome feature for new users.
Tweetcaster. If you’re a great fan of cartoonish graphics, the Tweetcaster is the best Twitter app for you. It is currently available for free at Google Play. But if you’re willing to pay for $5, you can use the pro version. Please note that there’s no major difference between the Pro and Regular version. The only advantage you’ve got is no more annoying ad banner displayed on the bottom side of the app.
One thing that we love about Tweetcaster is it’s way to zip your tweets. This is mean that you can choose to hide tweets from specific people without have to unfollow them. This should be a great features if you’re currently have a friend that post thousands of tweets and seems no different than junk comments on the Internet.
TweetDeck. This is one of the most famous third-party Twitter app for almost any available mobile platform. It is quite easy to setup. In addition, you are also allowed to manage your Facebook, FourSquare and Google Buzz accounts using this app.
Just like Plume, this app will display your Tweets in several different tabs like Newsfeed, @Replies, Direct Messages, and more. The best part is that you can your own tab with fully customizable hashtags. In addition, TweetDeck also allow you to set different update interval for each columns. For instance, you can make the newsfeed tabs to receive constant update for every 5 minutes, while the @Replies tabs will only updated every 30 minutes.
