Instagram for Android was start it’s debut at Google Play store since yesterday (you can read our review here). Although it is not the only app that packed with tons of image filters and offer image sharing function, Instagram still manage to set the buzzer around the web. Latest Google Play’s statistics shows that it has been downloaded for more than 1 milion times. What a great numbers. Even Temple run for Android need a week to reach that record.
As we mentioned earlier, Instagram is a photography application that will allow you to “destroy” your image with available filters and share the result with your friends via Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, FourSquare, Flickr. This application has already become so popular among iOS users, which makes lot of Android enthusiast begging for the developer to port the app to their beloved platform. Well then, there you go. It is now available for android. Here’s few tips to make your Instagram pictures look better than ever
Lighting. Try to use the Instagram filters to highlight some colors in your photo. It will make it looks better and definitely more interesting.
Angles and Focal Point. Try to take picture from above or below an object. Don’t forget to focus on smaller object, instead of taking the whole scene.
Consider the Square. Let’s not forget that Instagram photos are cropped in square, so it is important for you to make sure that your object is lining up. You can use the principal of Rule of Third. You can search it on the Internet and find some useful guide with it.
Keep it simple. Some best pictures are come out from a quick shot or close up look on a single object.
Tag it. As we mentioned earlier, you are allowed to share your photo result to your friends via social media web site such as Twitter. In order to attract other person to view or “likes” your photo, don’t forget to add some creative hashtags. Something like #latergram or #nofilter could be a great way to indicate if the photo was taken with Instagram or not.
