Huawei Ascend P1 was expected to be available for purchase on April, or this month, and the company is indeed kept their promise. The handset is now available for purchase in their country of origin, in China. It is currently priced at 2,999 Chinese Yuan or equal to $475.
The company also noted that the handset will continue it’s journey to other markets like Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Australia. If everything goes according to plan, it will happen by the end of May this year. Europe and Latin America will also penetrated by Ascend P1, but that won’t happen until June.
Huawei Ascend P1 feature 127.4 x 64.8 x 7.69 millimeters design. It is considered as one of the slimmest android smartphone around the corner. The device is running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. In terms of display, the smartphone posses 4.3 inch touch screen with Super AMOLED technology and 960 x 540 pixels resolution. There’s no need to worry for dust or scratch damage, because it is coated with Corning Gorilla glass. The rest of it’s technical details include 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 processors, Dolby Mobile sound, 1.3 megapixels web camera, 8.0 megapixels rear shutter, 1GB RAM, and 4GB of internal data storage.
