You can install or apply modified Android’s script or force the tablet’s processors to works faster through overclocking method. There’s no doubt that Galaxy Tab P1000 is a great Android tablet for modding and customizing.

Before we get started, make sure that you are already install the Samsung KIES software with proper drivers in your desktop computer. Next, enable the USB debugging mode by navigating to Settings > Application > Development. When you’re done with all of these stuffs, we can start the tutorial right away.

DoomLoRD’s method (for Galaxy Tab with Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread)

1. In your tablet, navigate to Settings > Application and enable the Unknown Sources option
2. Grab the DoomLoRD’s Easy Rooting Toolkit 4.0 and save it in your computer
3. Extract the .zip file and remember the location where you save the extracted files
4. Disable the Samsung KIES software in your computer, alongside with any other antivirus or anti malware software
5. Plug in your tablet into the computer via USC cable
6. Run a file named runme.bat (you should be able to find this file on the extracted folder)
7. Just follow the instruction that appear on the blank command promp window
8. The moment after you’re done with the process, remove your tablet and navigate to Google Play store. Download and install SuperUser and Titanium Back up apps. See if you able to grant those applications with root access

z4root method (for Galaxy Tab with Android 2.2 Froyo)

1. Enable the Unknown Sources option by navigating to Settings > Applications
2. Grab the z4root app and move the .apk file inside your tablet’s SD card
3. Now, using the File Manager, find the z4root apk file and install it in your tablet
4. Launch the app
5. Tap on the permanent root option
6. The process will start immediately and it will take up to 3 or 5 minutes

Super One Click Method (for Galaxy Tab with Android 2.3 Gingerbread)

1. Disable Samsung KIES software and other antivirus app that exists in your computer
2. Grab the SuperOneClick 2.3.3 software and save it in your computer
3. Extract the .zip file and remember the location where you put the extracted files
4. Plug in your tablet into the computer via USB cable
5. Run the SuperOneClick.exe file
6. Click on the Root button and the rooting process should start immediately
